Parenting after 35

I read your message to Mamabear and I got interested in FTT.  Here is what the National Institudes of Heath say about it.

It seems to be a "garbage can" diagnosis that they throw alot of different things ino.  At the end of the list, they even say that sometimes they do not know what causes it.  You are doing a good job taking care of him because you are interested why he is so little and are pushing for the doctors to find out the cause.  Don't beat yourself up.

Re: rsd12

  • Thanks so much for the link!  I was having a difficult time finding the right information for my son's case.  Since we don't neglect him ; )  We are guessing the way his body processes food is different or too fast.  My mother-in-law had a similar issue with gaining weight when she was younger (just not this young) & if my husband skips a meal he will drop 5-7 lbs in a day (damn him).  I worry about brain development at this age if his body is not processing nutrients properly.  But it looks like the supplement is helping!  But he is a happy & active little guy.
