hey girls! i didn;t have work today, so i went grocery shopping for christmas dinner and picked up a few last minute gifts. still not completely done shopping yet. DH and I will get the last few things Friday bc he likes shopping on Christmas Eve.

now, i'm making sauce for manicotti and i started making mini meatballs for italian wedding soup (my fav)

what's your status on christmas preparation? is everyone else done shopping? have you wrapped everything yet?

i'm saving all my wrapping for christmas eve so I can listen to christmas music while i do it. trying to pretend i'm loving the holiday season when in fact i just want it to be over with. especially if AF shows up in the next few days.

Married 5/15/10. Me (29). DH (33). BFP#1 7/25/10 - Missed m/c 8wks - D&E 8/25/10 BFP#2 12/25/10 - Missed m/c 7wks - D&E 1/20/11 (second loss due to abnormal chromosome 7) Genetics testings- Normal. RPL panel results- Normal. Elevated FSH (14). DH b/w normal. SA- Normal. HSG- Left tube possibly blocked. Minor septum removed. My Ovulation Chart ~~ Hope is the companion of power, and mother of success. For who so strongly hopes has within him the gift of miracles ~~ image

    I have had a terrible head and chest cold for the last few days so we just went yesterday and all I got were gift cards..granted most of them had to be mailed to family out of state but hey......

    I'm pretty much done-just need to do some wrapping that will get done on Xmas eve.

    Then I need to start preparing myself for family gatherings on Xmas-I know at some point (if not several) someone will make a comment or ask a question that is going to upset me.....my goal is not to cry that day!

    I was done shopping on Saturday. DH tried to go and get gifts for 3 men in his family and came back with all kinds of gifts for different people that I already bought for, It was a disaster to say the least. He refuses to take anything back so I had to do all of that last night. Tonight I get to go and shop for the original 3 he was supposed to shop for. Grrr.

    I have all of my baking done and I wrapped most of our gifts so I still have to do a bit or wrapping but it will have to get done tomorrow. We are going to my dad's house Christmas Eve and my Mom's on Christmas so we are running out of time. I am so glad we are not hosting this year. I would be such a mess.

    Italian wedding soup sounds delicious!! And sauce for manicotti I would love to be able to cook like that.

    I need to buy food for Christmas, and DH still hasn't gotten me anything...or he sure is hiding it well! I got my shopping done.

    we baked dozens of cookies on sunday. i'll all baked out.

     Mmmm that sounds good, I've only ever had that soup at Macaroni Grill, and it was good there, I'm sure homemade is phenomenal!

    Every other year I like getting into it early-shopping and decorating so I can enjoy the season longer, but like your DH I used to love going to the mall on Christmas eve (and Black Friday). I would have my shopping done but still liked going for last-minute deals, excitement and fun.

    This year I've bah humbugged it up. No decor at all and I finished 95% of my shopping before Thanksgiving. I picked up a few additional things here and there, and I'm definitely done with gifts. I do have a lot of baking ahead of me in the next few days though.

    I thought I was done with all my shopping then I went through everything and realized there are still a few things I need. So tomorrow night I will be going out to get the remainder of the gifts and stuff to make for Christmas eve and Christmas day breakfast. Plus I still have to wrap everything. Im usually done with everything by now but not being in the christmas mood really doesnt make it easy getting everything done.
