Your gift bag to backpack idea is brilliant!  G ran around all weekend carrying her stuff around.  I'm really glad I read it way back in your blog and remembered it now.  Great for this time of year :)

    You can find it in her blog if you search gift bag,

    I did it a little different because she used it to tote her dolls with their heads sticking out but basically you poke a couple holes in the middle section of the bag and thread the ribbon handles thru so they are vertical, I reinforced with masking tape in the inside.
