When is/was your 3rd Tri final growth scan u/s?

Barring an u/s for other issues that arose (will arise etc ), when is/was the last u/s you had in your pregnancy? I know there is one more in 3rd tri that is another growth scan...my book all seem to be on different pages (no pun intended) and my preggo brain can't remember what the doctor said in that first appt so long ago.....thanks!

I don't normally get a 3rd tri u/s. The only reason I got one in the 3rd tri with dd1 was to check to see if she was still breech and they did that at 37 weeks and the day I went to the hospital for my c/s.

I won't get one with dd2 since I'm having a c/s already and I'm measuring on track, etc.

i had one at 32wks & another at 36wks but that's b/c they wanted to track the growth of a fibroid i have (to make sure it wasn't in the way of the baby). but if i didn't have the fibroid, my last would have been at 20wks.

I have them twice a week until February 17th. Two days before my c/s.

My dr only does them if I'm measuring bigger or smaller. I did have one w/ DS and it was at 37 wks.

My OB office had me schedule a 3rd tri growth/position ultrasound at 36 weeks at the hospital next door. But I have had borderline PIH since 20 weeks so they want to double check his size to be safe.

But I think every OB office is different, I have heard many don't have a 3rd tri ultrasound at all unless you are having another issue they want to check on.

This. With my first pregnancy, I did not get another U/S after the anatomy scan. B/C I was diagnosed with complete placenta previa this pregnancy, I just had one completed last week and Doc will write orders for my last one around 33wks.

I just had an appt. today and they told me at my 32 week appt. I'll be having an internal ultrasound to check the placenta. I would assume this is normal for them since I haven't had any problems since some bleeding at 13weeks.

(BTW I know I'm not technically 3rd tri yet, shh!)

My doctor does a growth u/s at 35 weeks but like previous posters above some doctors don't do the growth u/s.

My Dr doesn't do one after 20 weeks unless something arises that needs to be checked. I had one today because the baby has been measuring ahead at my last few apts, and low and behold he is moving up my EDD!

But if everything is going smoothly, there is no need for another U/S, but it is nice to get a peek at LO!

this is typically not mandatory unless there is a problem... i had high BP so they just did an u/s on monday to make sure size and fluid looks good. otherwise i wouldn't have had one. everything is a-ok!

I will have 2 during the 3rd tri...I had 1 awhile back & now I will have 1 next week which will make me 38 wks along. I'm soooooo excited to see how big he is now!!!!

The only u/s I got is the one at 20 weeks. Unless they see a valid medical reason I won't have another one.
