Were/are you able to use a lot of the same clothes? My LO's will only be about 2 months apart and I know every child is different, but my DS is very small for his age and I'm wondering if the appropriate season clothes will fit the new LO.
In theory, I'm thrilled to be able to reuse DS's old clothes, but I'm wondering if this will actually be the case or not.

For my boys even though they are 4 months apart, they can pretty much share clothes. I have DS2 wearing things that DS1 wore last winter. They are a little big on him, but we can roll sleeves and pants. DS2 is bigger than DS1 was at his age...so I think pretty soon they will be in the same size.
But to answer your question, yes we were able to reuse a lot of our clothes.
No, at least not until I got to size 2T. My girls are 18 months apart and different seasons AND grew at the same rate........I bought 2 separate wardrobes.
My friend has 2 girls who were born in the same exact month and could NOT use clothing from her first because her 2nd grew at a much faster rate.
You just don't know what's going to happen.
my girls are only 10 days apart B-day wise - so we are hoping to use ALL of the same clothes. I think the only thing that might trip us up is the fact that the older one is a big big girl, so we might get to a point where they are no longer the same size for the same season.
But, I am sure even if that happens, there will still be plenty of cross-over. ie - what that older one wore in the begining of summer, the younger will wear at the end.
We got rid of anything that was totally stained. I love hand-me-downs, so it works in my favor that they girls will share their clothes.

some yes, some no.
my buys were born 3.5 months apart month wise (march 30 and june 15) and i was shocked at how much the seasons and sizes did NOT match up.
some things that weren't really that seasonal we got to use with the twins- but a good majority of Griffin's stuff didn't get used again - it made me sad

For the most part, yes. DD1 was born at the beginning of summer and DD2 was born at the beginning of winter - so there are definitely some things that DD2 couldn't wear but I've reused a lot so far (especially sleepers). That didn't stop me from buying DD2 lots of clothes anyway though, girls clothes are too much fun
I also had to buy DD2 some warmer winter NB and 3 month sized clothes.
ETA: Even though DD2 was born about 1.5lbs heavier than DD1, she was an inch shorter and has grown slower so she's worn NB sizes just about as long as DD1 wore them (til about 2-2.5 months)
Now that they're 3 and 4 the answer is yes.
Before now? It was a mixed bag.
My oldest is super thin. My youngest has a bit of a chunky belly. They were both in the same sized shorts not this past summer (2 and 4) but the summer before (1 and 3).
Pants they've never worn the same size at the same size but until recently we could interchange shirts up until last year.
At 17 months apart I expected to be able to use less during the first year because they were totally opposite seasons but was surprised by just how much we could reuse with the new baby. I had to buy a few extra things but it was short lived. By the time we were 9 - 12 months with the 2nd baby we were in pretty good shape.
HTH!
