ours felt VERY similar to an IUI and took about as much time...i think it may have been more emotional as you know EMBIES are going in, not just sperm...but physically it was pretty much the same
All of this exactly. GL!!

It was very similar to IUI....the only uncomfortable part for me was having a partially full bladder. That was no big deal though...it was a surreal experience. You get to watch almost the whole thing...what an amazing thing!
After 1 IUI, 3 IVF's with CGH/CCS testing, 10 early miscarriages, and lots of tears and frustration, we are moving on to Domestic Infant Adoption! We are so excited to see what the future holds.
Mine was nothing like the mock transfer anyway....that just checked my ute to see what they were dealing with.
It's painless, but VERY awkward. There are a bunch of people up in ur vag (RE, nurses, embryologist), and i was wide awake. They push on ur very full bladder, so not fun...but not bad at all.
It's more weird than anything else. Good luck!

Re: IVF question - ET
it's really easy and you will be so preoccupied with watching the monitor and watching them transfer your embies that you won't feel anything.
It's an amazing experience!
