Can you give any hints or tips that made BF #2 easier while LO #1 is running around like crazy. DD is VERY active and needy. Loves attention (as most 1 year olds do) and im worried of how im going to keep her busy long enough for me to BF DS. TIA

    Nurse in a babyproofed area so your older LO is safe. 

    Make sure LO has a snack, a cup and something to watch on TV, or a toy to play with for a little while. Oh and make sure your older one doesnt have a poopy diaper. I learned fast to check for that so I didnt have to disrupt DDs nursing or leave DS in his diaper long.

    You just figure out what works for you. I never had long nursers so it was fine, plus I learned how to get up while nursing if I needed to get DS something or help him.

    My LO likes to 'help.' She will sit next to me and do the C-hold around my breast. It's hilarious!! That will last for a few seconds and then she's off and running again. I sometimes sit with LO at her table and color while BFing. My Brest Friend is the best thing ever!

    Just figure out what works and do it! I had DVR'd a bunch of DD's favorite shows, so when I was nursing, I'd turn them on. Sometimes, I'd try and nurse at the same time as a meal or snack, which made things that much easier. It's all trial & error, and pretty soon your older child will adjust.
