TTC After a Loss

CPW- Your loss

(From JulsW)

I really want to know the different percentages of the losses on this board but I am so nervous that I will not remember them all and offend somebody.

Re: CPW- Your loss

  • I had an early loss and what I guess would be a considered a chemical pregnancy, but I count them both as early losses.

  • I had an earlyish loss (13 weeks) that was a missed miscarriage. I clicked early loss. I'm curious how often miscarriages happen naturally and how many are missed miscarriages - before it happened to us, I didn't know there was a difference, and had never heard the term missed M/C.

  • I voted Late MC, but I never know if it's considered stillbirth. After 20w, it's considered a stillbirth, so I don't know what it is right on the 20 weeks...I've decided since I hate the term mc and I'm right on the cusp, to refer to it as my daughter was stillborn at 20 weeks.

  • I'm pretty new here - just had my first MC.  It was early - apprx 5-6 weeks.  It was a natural MC.  I started spotting and then eventually started bleeding. From my last u/s, it appears I passed everything on my own, but will be going in for bloodwork next week to make sure my levels have gone down.

  • I clicked on early m/c for both.

Edit:  typo...my second m/c was early not late.  Sorry for the confusion.

    5/16/2005: M/C at 7 wks
    5/3/2010: MM/C at 7 wks 6 days
    5/25/2014: CP at 4 wks 3 days

Because of the great "Snow"vember of 2015, my medicated cycle was cancelled.  However, we were blessed with our little rainbow baby due on 8/14/15!  Baby J had other plans and decided to make his grand ole entrance on 7/4/2015!

Surprise!  Our little girl entered this world on 12/8/2016 after her eviction notice was long past due.  Our little turkey baby turned into a snow baby!

    Plus a c/p.

  • I wish you could do multiple votes:( You can add 2 additional early m/c's to my votes. Blighted ovum's are considered early I think.

  • I voted SS because my little one was born alive at 18 weeks so I don't think that qualifies as a late M/C. She only died because she was too little, not because of a fetal defect of any kind. I'm just not sure where I fall in the poll!

  • I went with SS because I found out she had passed when I was 21w5d, but she stopped growing at 17w5d.  So I guess I straddle the late miscarriage/stillbirth.  I had to deliver her though, so I guess I am more stillbirth?  Either way, it sucks, bah.
