Anyone who's a total sap when it comes to kid's events

Have you thought about what it's going to be like watching 2+ kids graduate from kindergarten (thru highschool) at once?  I would be a slobbering mess with one child.

DH thinks our girls won't want us to attend any of their events b/c our slobbering will be so embarrassing.   Ha ha.

  • Oh well geez, I *hadn't* thought about it before.  Now I'm thisclose to being a bawling mess right here on the couch.

  • Ugh, so far preschool/church Christmas programs totally pull at my heart strings : )  Seeing my baby singing sweetly and proudly smiling definitely brings on the tears.  Next year, he and his brother will be in the same age group for our church program, then our girls obviously will be in them together too.  These kids make Mama such a sap!! ; )

  • Oh man. It's going to be bad. Last weekend Cal started cooing and smiling at me and it was so sweet it brought me to tears. When big events happen it's going to be waterworks.

  • I am a blubbering mess when I am sitting on the couch watching tv and think forward 10-15 years and my boys will someday be teenagers laying around on the couch.

If I get misty by just thinking about my boys watching tv - you can imagine what a mess I am when I think about big milestones like graduation, weddings, etc.

My dad cries at special events and I love him even more for it!
