DH & I decided to not do stockings this year but LO gets a stocking. Filled it with bath toys, fork/spoon set, puffs, a snack container, mum mum's, a little book, and finger puppets.
DH (we are only doing stockings, so I kinda went all out) - gum, infared thermometer, ice cube tray (that makes perfect square cubes, he wanted it), pens, car cord & headphones for his iPod, The Expectant Father book, chapstick, fancy shaving cream
LuLu has a stocking and I fill it to the brim every year! This year she's getting a new collar, several bags of treats & a couple toys
DH = Candy. He's a candy junkie. Candy from the Wakarusa Dime Store to be precise. :-)
LO = Stuart Little DVD (she watched the movie once and loved it)... not sure what else. I need to run to Meijer today, so I'll pick up a couple more small things. Probably bibs and socks. :-)
Pets = We used to have a small stocking for our cat, but we went super light on the decorations this year, so we didn't even get it out. It only fits a small package of treats in it.
DH - I have Season 1 of the Community from BF, so I might throw that in there with some candy. We really don't do stockings. Or gifts for that matter. LOL.
Olivia - I have a small Fuzz that Wuzz penguin and owl, stickers, coloring book, and her little utensils for the play kitchen. We do Christmas morning at both my parents and the ILs, so I will probably pick up a couple more smallish things for her baby, books or craft stuff. She's obsessed with stickers and coloring right now.
For Nick, I'm hoping his new Thomas the train dvd fits in there. I also have a few boxes of stickers (I ordered the kind you get at the Dr. because Nick loves them!), and a couple of smaller books. i might throw in some goldfish or something if there is still room.
We do stockings every year. I wasn't sure what to do for our LO since she's only 6.5 months, but I got her some more pacifiers, spoons, socks, and two small toys.
For DH, I got him razors that he loves (Mach 3, seriously like over $20 for a package, it's ridiculous!), fancy shaving cream, deodorant (only because it seems he is always needing me to buy more), and chap stick (he is obsessed and goes through it like crAzy!)
We always do stockings for our dogs and cat(s). Our two dogs are getting a rawhide shaped like a candy cane and some small treats. Our cat is getting two small bags of treats. We really enjoy Christmas morning when we get to open stockings with the pets... they love the attention and the treats and it's so fun for us! We also wrap them a gift or two.
DH- I got him a video game that I'll probably put in there, I'm planning one picking up some razor blades and Carmex tonight, and he requested socks. Lame and practical I know, but his big gift was a splurge, and he'll love it so much he won't care what I put in that stocking.
I have a ton of things for Isabella so we'll see what fits- a new bib, a straw cup, some take and toss cups for milk, a hand puppet, Beauty and the Beast DVD, etc. I know I'm forgetting some things.
The pets do have stockings and they usually get some toys, treats, and maybe a can of wet food (they love it, but rarely get it). The cats like CatSip which is a milk product for cats.
I can almost guarantee DH will include Lindt truffles, hand lotion, and some kind of chapstick/lip balm in mine.
DD is the ony one who gets presents in her stocking.
This year she is getting toy story 3 dvd, playdough, underwear(we are still working on the potty training), toothbrush and some cute books and toys that I got at Target in the $1 bins.
Re: Let's talk stocking stuffers
DS is getting some California baby diaper rash cream (oh boy!) and Graham cracker gold fish.
DH is getting a big bag of peanut butter m&m's and the movie Inception (we arent exchanging any other gifts).
