i had a baby about a month ago but am looking to have another one in the near future, i just want my body to heal a bit first what should i do any birth control suggestions
Depends on how long you plan on waiting. if you are planning on waititng a few months then I would say the pill/mini pill (depending on BF or not). Or if you are plannign on waiting a year or more I woud suggest either seasonique(a pill) or depo(what I am on) we are using depo since we are waiting at least a year or two before we have another. depo works good for us since I wont have a period untill we decide to start trying again and I got pregnant after only 3 months of going off of it the last time.

Depo is not recommended if you want to get pregnant soon. You get a shot every 3 months. I had been on and off of it over a few years and always got a period right away if I didn't get my shot again. Not so the last time, which is when we decided we wanted a baby. After 9 months of no period off the shot (after 6 it is considered a problem) they gave me progesterone to jump start my body. Didn't work. Tried again the next month and got a short 3 day period. Then got 3 more periods on my own and finally got pregnant before I got my 4th. I will NEVER go on depo again. I loved it for years, but not being able to get pregnant for a long time sucked. It is normal for it to take up to 24 months to get pregnant coming off the shot. This is true whether you've been on it for one shot or for 10 years. I would definitely use condoms if you want to get pregnant within the next year or the pill if you want more protection.

Wow I have never heard of anyone having so much trouble after getting off depo. I was on depo for 5 years before we decided to have a baby and got PG right away after stopping it
