I love watching kids figure things out

...or trying to anyway. (Kind of a f/u to my response to an earlier post)

I've been trying to get Evan to just take bites of things - since he's the type of kid that would want everything cut up into bite sized pieces until ...well probably forever unless his SO refused to do it for him. Gets that from DH for sure.

It's so funny to watch him eat things like rolls and sandwiches. He just doesn't get that you can turn the sandwich to get a better bite - he insists on biting the SAME place. He'll do it himself until there is the deeeeeepest bite imaginable and then hand it to me, haha! So i just turn it a little and hand it back to him and he's fine. Until that bit gets too deep. He'll look at it and try to figure out where to bite next - it's so darn funny.

    It's so cool to watch their brains work!  Gavin will do something similar.  He often forgets that he can move his fingers back to eat more...so he'll eat whatever is accessible and hand it back to me because he can't figure out what to do with the food left in his hand.  :)

    Haha!  I like it when dd puts a cracker in her mouth the straight up and down way so that it is down the middle and her mouth is wide open and stuck haha.
