right now i'd use it to take DH to a b&b for a weekend. we need some quality time together, and i just need to get away from the world for a bit.
I love the weekend getaway with DH, but that assumes we also have someone to watch C, which we totally don't. Literally, in the past 6 months she has been without one of us for 1 hour total and we were worried about her being watched for that one hour (DH and I were together).
Besides that, if I could do it guilt free, I could use some new clothes to fit my mommy body and lifestyle so I don't feel so frumpy all the time. And a haircut.
For practical purposes I would want to put it to some home renovations like replacing mouldings and interior doors that we've been talking about recently.
For just me though, a DSLR camera (I think I could at least get the body for that price anyway :-)
Pay someone to move my big items: I have a refrigerator in the basement that I want moved to my kitchen, 1963 stove (huge!) needs to be moved out of my kitchen, new gas stove needs to be moved into my kitchen, massive Sony Wega tv needs to be brought from my basement to living room (weighs about 300 lbs)....
Organic crib mattress for my phantom baby nursery
One set of nice dishes for "everyday" because these ones I have now keep breaking.
Glass food storage jars (the kind where the lid locks down)
2 programmable temp ceramic heaters that turn off if they fall over
German hotwater bottles (at least 2)
Stud earrings to wear at the hospital for work
SOHO hair clips/pins/claws. They are made with austrian crystal and so pretty.
I would blow it on some new clothes, I'm finally loosing weight and inbetween sizes and some of them are so huge on me I feel gross wearing them but I don't have anything else to wear so I still wear them.
Re: Non-clicky poll for fun: If you had $500
kitchen counters.
Yep, I lead an exciting life.
