Caroline is in the process of moving from the infants class to the 1 y/o's class at her daycare. She is transitioning well and I know she likes playing with the older kids and cooler toys. But she is soooooooo tired in the evening. 3 of the last 4 nights after daycare she has fallen asleep 5 minutes after I get home. I always nurse her when I get home and she has just crashed out during and is out for the night (with the normal wakeups). I miss getting to spend time with her in the evenings, I hope this ends soon.

Re: Moving to a new class in daycare
Poor Mommy with no baby time at night. But I am glad she is doing well with the transition.
She still needs 2 naps a day. She does sleep at daycare but usually only 2 40 minute naps. Yesterday she only had one nap (1hr 10min) that ended at 11 am so obviously that's why she passed out so early. I told them that I wouldn't OK the move up to the next class if she couldn't have 2 naps. They were fine with that even though the standard schedule is one nap- they are good about working with parents on individualizing things.
