Pregnant after a Loss

Does anyone else stare at their belly and will kicks?

Like actually saying out loud "come on baby, just a little kick for mama? Please?"

Or am I just a big, pathetic loser?

(She's being quiet this morning, which I think is frankly mean. I got her on the doppler, a little low, so I think she's sleeping. How dare she.)

  • I often ask her what she's doing. I may have even promised her a pony once. Sometimes I sing to her in hopes that my awful voice will cause her to kick and tell me to STFU.

  • umm I may be doing just that with the added poking that he always moves away from. You'd think they would give us a little nudge before it came to craziness Embarrassed

This. Especially now that LO thinks he's Chuck Norris and I can watch the kicks. I love watching my belly move spastically.

  • Yes, I do this all the time! And I've been guilty too of poking and jiggling her just to wake her up! I know, I'm a mean mommy already!

  • yep. yesterday i was stuck home, dh took my keys to work, and i literally laid in bed all day willing her to move around more.  mine has been really low the past week too, most of the movement i feel is in my pelvis not my belly, so its been harder for me to feel.  youre not a loser unless i am to!
  • All.the.time.
