3rd Trimester

I might end up having my baby in jail

I swear. If one more person at work walks up and says, "OMG you're stil here??" No, genius, I'm a figment of your phucking imagination....

On the plus side though, you get free child care in jail, right?

 I'm only slightly grouchy. Wink

  • If I hear "You look like your ready to pop any day now!" one more time I may go postal.....

I still have 2 months left....I know I look like a hippo and walk like a penguin but SHUT IT!!

and just think....a whole weekend of family to get more annoying comments from and no booze to numb the experience!

I see your slightly grouchy and  raise you a fairly irritated!

  • Ignore them because the free child care is called foster care.

    Earplugs are your friend!  :-)

  • Depends.  Jail or prison?  I think CPS takes over.  But you definitely won't have to worry about not getting any sleep!

  • I had to LOL at your title. I thought this was a MIL post. I've warned DH that if his momma doesn't STFU that I will shankabitch and he'll need to post my bail.

To answer your post...start giving the most smartass responses when people state the obvious from now on. When some nut wrinkle asks if you're still here you can say "Figure that one out all by yourself?" or "Clearly." etc.

  • My Mom saw me yesterday and told me I was "really starting to put in on"........I had to remind her that I was pregnant. That stomach I'm "putting on" is called an unborn child.............Mom's Gheesh!

    Touch? salesman!

Sadly, they ignore my headphones. They just keep knocking on my desk until I turn around. I'm bringing in my H's noise cancelling headphones tomorrow.

  • Have you not see the show "I'm pregnant and in prison" She had her baby in prison and they even had a nursery! Nice.

BTW I would say some B!tchy response to anyone that asks you that.

    Good luck

  • I work in a pretty small office was asked 4 times before 9 a.m., "what's your due date again?" Mind you, these same people ask me every.single.time I see them. I can't wait to have this baby!
  • At least you're actually at the end.  I get that and I'm not due until March 15! (Twins, but still.  STFU, people!)
  • Well, if you'd just have the baby already then those comments would stop.  Wink

  • So, I recognize the sarcasim in he original post, but it got me googling, for lack of better entertainment on this cold, boring day. I found these 'moms with kids in prison' news stories interesting, if anyone else is as bored today as me:

  • LOL.. DH's aunt asked me recently if I was still working... yeah, sure-- it makes total sense to take maternity leave BEFORE the baby is born. I'm only 33 weeks, douche!
