Cameras!

We want to buy a really nice camera and are wondering should we go with the Canon Rebel or Nikon. Anyone have a favorite and why? I am leaning towards the rebel as I have a small canon digital camera and love it!

    We just got the Olympus Pen and LOVE IT! It takes great HD video, and the pictures come out every bit as good as a Nikon or Canon. Plus I find it A LOT less confusing that "professional" cameras.

    We just bought the SamsungTL225, and it takes great pics!! Good Luck in ur search! It took me a long time to decide on this one!

    I almost posted this exaxct topic the other night.  we ended up ordering the Nikon D3100 after seeing it on Oprha's favorite things and reading the reviews.  We were torn b/n the Cannon Rebel and the D3100 but after researching it seemed like the D3100 was easier for a beginner like me.  Also it was I think about $150 cheaper.  We bought on Amazon . . . no tax and a free DVD and carrying case.  I can't wait to get it!!
