Do you use a wipe warmer or bottle warmer or microwave sanitizer? Are these items a "must have" or just "nice to have"? What other items did you think you had to have but haven't even used yet? Just trying to finish up my shopping list :-) TIA

Re: Wipe Warmer, Bottle Warmer, etc ....
I use them all, because they are so convenient for me, but they were all gifts.......
Wipe Warmer- Great, because the wipes are not super cold to his little bottom.
Bottle Warmer- For some reason, he screams and hollers when I try to give him room temperature breast milk.
Sanitizer- I can put more bottles and both shields in there. I have the Medela bags, too, but you can only do 2 bottles at a time, and it takes me longer.
To each her own though! Hope this helps!!
My LO would scream and cry when having his diaper changed. So I sent my parents to get a wipe warmer and that helped a lot. No more screaming. But I think we could have made it through without.
My DS will also take a cold and room temp bottle at times, but he prefers a warm bottle. So the bottle warmer is VERY nice. Necessity. Sometime he won't take a bottle if not warm.
I use the sanitizer microwave bags...those are a MUST. Easy to clean and added reassurance for health.
I swore we'd never use the wipe warmer and didn't with DS. DD screams at the top of her lungs if I use a cold wipe, so we gave in to our little princess
As for the rest, no- we don't use them.
We got a wipe warmer as a shower gift. It's currently collecting dust in one of the nursery closets.
Bottle warmer = best $25 I've spent on baby stuff yet. I probably wouldn't bother with a warmer if I didn't have twins though.
We bought the Dr. Brown's microwave sanitizer thing. 5 mins and bottles/pieces are sterilzed. Easier and more convienient than boiling. Again, probably wouldn't use it that much if I was only feeding one baby.

We don't use a bottle warmer...DS takes formula room temp and we heat up chilled BM under warm water.
We are seriously considering getting a wipe warmer. Our house can get a little chilly in the winter and DS hates having his bits and pieces exposed.
I use the Medela microwave bags for pump parts and bottle. Quick and easy.
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

I use a wipes warmer - but only at home, The sitter doesn't have one and we obviously don't carry one around in the diaper bag. So it doesn't matter either way. It's nice to have because then it's not cold on his bottom in the middle of the night.
Never used a bottle warmer. LO gets room temp bottles. I refuse to let him get used to having a warm bottle, because then I don't have to worry about trying to warm one up when we're out and about and he decides he's hungry or in the middle of the night.
Don't use a bottle sanitizer, we use good old fashioned hot water and dish soap. We also use the playtex drop ins bottles though too. (For the record, I did sanitize bottles, nipples, and everything when I first bought them.)
wipe warmer - I'm planning on getting one of these after the holidays because I'd like to switch to using cloths instead of wipes, and I've read that the warmer keeps them wet.
bottle warmer - no, only because he goes to daycare and they have one there, and when home I BF.
and really, we haven't even unpacked the diaper pail. maybe if I start staying home, or when he transitions to his crib in his own room, we will begin, but for now he only has a couple diapers in the evenings and they go right into the trash outside.

I have a wipe warmer but I have never used it.
I want a bottle warmer, because I want to start making formula up and keeping it in the fridge for the day when we are home. That way, if DH isn't home, I can pop the bottle in the warmer and go change her diaper and wash my hands and when I come back the bottle is ready to go. She was bf for 6 weeks, so she isn't into cold bottles at all.
I think all those items may or may not be a waste for you. It just kind of depends on how things work for you once LO is here. I registered for them because I figured they'd be nice to have, but if I didn't get them it was nbd. I figured I'd just go buy them if I need them since none of them are that expensive.
This. I always thought a wipe warmer was a complete waste until I saw my little guy get upset every time we wiped his boy parts. So, the Dr said they were fine to use, and I ordered one that should be here any day.
My little man is so good (*knock on wood*) - he only cries when he's hungry and when he's cold - or having a cold wipe used on his body. I owe it to him to at least try out a wipe warmer.
Wipe warmer was a gift. In the nursery and used at night. DD will fully wake up with a cold wipe.Could buy after LO was here and see how she does.
Bottle warmer, didn't get one per the advice on the bump. Buying one this weekend. DD is EBF so when we are giving her a bottle it needs to be warm or she screams. It is a PITA for me to thaw and/or warm under water and takes way too long for DD. She goes from 0-60 immediately though and she eats on demand, not a schedule, so hard to plan for the bottle. I'd wait to buy until you know how you'll feed your baby and her preferences.
Sterilizer. must have for me. I use the bags when I'm not home. I pump on occasion and it is nice to quickly sterilize the parts and bottles. I also developed a minor case of thrush so it was nice to only have to boil once a day instead of several. You don't NEED it, but I love it.
DH's friend gave us their bottle warmer and it's just sitting on a high shelf, but I EBF and am a SAHM so she only gets a couple bottles a week. When we need to warm a bottle from the fridge for her we just put it in a mug of hot water for a few minutes. I think if you EP or FF the bottle warmer would be fabulous to put in the room with the baby so you don't have to get up and make the bottle every couple hours.
LOVE my wipe warmer. We use cloth diapers and it's nice to have a container of warm, wet washcloths at hand. DD doesn't like cold anything, but maybe we spoiled her by having it in the first place!
