TMI: the problem with not wanting any more children...

...is that every time we get it on, I get all nervous, even though I'm on Mirena. For example, we did the deed last night, and now this morning I'm having some cramps. Probably just from, shall we say, enthusiasm, but all I can think is ,"OMG WHAT IF I'M KNOCKED UP? NONONONONO!" It doesn't help that the timing would be right on the money since my normal ovulation day was the day before yesterday...

(Just to emphasize: I'm sure I'm not pregnant, nor will I get pregnant. I'm just neurotic as all hell about it lol.)

    not neurotic at all (at least not in my opinion!).  I am the exact same way except I am not on any BC.  We are going with the condoms. :( but I didn't want to get back on hormones just b/c we do want to have another one in a few years & it took my body awhile to adjust to being off the pill.

    maybe TMI but is Ben interested in getting snipped?  My friend has 4 & she was only trying for 1.  She first had twin boys, then while taking the pill (and antibiotics) got pg for #3 and then while on the patch (apparently it is not supposed to go on a fatty part of your body i.e. butt) she got pg with #4.  While she was pg with #4, her husband got snipped.

    I'm 100% positive that I don't want more kids. If it was all up to me, I'd get him snipped tomorrow. But he's still a bit leery about having the bullets taken out of the gun (I suspect it's just one of those Manly Man Issues) so I agreed that he could have a 5 year stay of execution - when the Mirena is done, his swimmers go bye-bye. Stick out tongue

    As a side note, the Mirena seems to be killing my sex drive so maybe that will make getting snipped sound like a better idea to him lol.
