I am almost 11 weeks and I already look like an elephant. I could tell someone I'm 4 or 5 months and they wouldn't bat an eye. I've been in full-on maternity clothes for a week now and we've had to tell everyone already because there is no hiding it!
Re: How soon did you *really* show with #2?
THIS, except I think I started to show more around 21-22 weeks with #2.
I was pretty late in really showing. I don't "pop" until 32 weeks though, so at 7 months people could really tell I was PG. Before then, people would think I was chubby! LOL!
I got to 20 weeks with B for maternity clothes, 18 with E and 16 with L.........
LOL!
Everyone carries so differently. It's so hard to compare......
Aww. I am jealous of those who show early and big. To me it is a sign of health, since my kids have all had IUGR (my boy was only 2lb13 at 38 weeks when he was born). I wish I had giant pregnant bellies, even though I know it's uncomfortable towards the end.
This ... with #1 I just looked thick around the middle and felt incredibly fat until about 22-25 weeks when it finally starting looking like a "proper" baby bump. With this one, I'm 15 weeks currently and when I look down I see pregant belly but fairly normal waist/hips ... it's making it really challenging to hide at work because I'm waiting until the last possible moment to tell them considering they're not going to take the news very well. (SIGH)
