How far along am I?

So I by no means have regular periods. Sometimes 3 weeks in between all the way up to 8 weeks. My last was October 29th and when I took a preg test a week and a half ago it was negative. Then I took two saturday and both positive!! I took one again today because it still doesn't seem real. Again positive :) We are so excited. I am trying to figure out how far along I am but I really don't think I am almost 2 months along. I spotted on the 10th and 11th of December and they say that can happen about 10-15 days after conception while implantation is happening. HELP! Any ideas on how far long I might be??

    When was the first day of your last period? Count the weeks by that date. Like mine was 10/1 and so I'm 11 weeks and 4 days. I too had irregular periods but they say go by that date.

    Its hard to say, but if you tell your doctor this, they might do an US for you to confirm your due date. I think that would be the best way to go. Your test last week could have been a false negative, but if not, usually you get a positive result between 4 & 5 weeks, but some people need more time, this is a total guess but I would bet you're 6-7 weeks. It is just so hard to say...

    Like you my periods was irregular. I had the trouble of bleeding constantly though for two year. But when i had my ob apointment he still went from my last day of bleeding. Counted back 7 days. and considered that the START of my pregnancy. so start from your first day of ur last mentral....and it should be right:) Good Luck...oh and i do not think it is a false reading on the test lol

    This is a bad idea, especially in the OP's case since she knows she isn't as far along as her LMP would indicate.

    OP, ask for a dating u/s.  Really.  Don't let your doc use your LMP as your due date.  There are so many unnecessary inductions done all the time because docs use LMP for due dates when women have long or irregular cycles.
