I keep forgetting to ask my dr for the safe fish list. do any of you have something like this? DH's family is Italian so Christmas Eve is always the feast of 7 fishes... I'm prepared to make chicken, but I'd prefer some of their fabulous fish dishes. I know the off limits ones are because of the high mercury levels, but what are the low mercury level fish?
thanks!

That's a great list above!!!! good to have.
My doc said not to eat any fish if I didn't have to---that the streams/lakes are just so polluted and the oceans have the larger fish with the mercury. Said def stay away from canned tuna which is one of the things I kind of actually like LOL. BUT I say anything in moderation--so would I eat 7 fish in one night? Probably not. BUT definitely enjoy some of it----it's not like you eat it everyday. Plus the first 13 wks are the most important.
