I splurged on Maternity Jeans...

And now I am having buyers remorse.  My husband talked me into a $160 pair of True Religions.  I guess I should be happy he wants me to have nice things but I am now thinking I could get 3 pairs of another brand for that price.  But on the other hand I went looking for jeans that were cute and not "mom jeans"  and that they defiantly are!

Oh this baby makes me so indecisive!  Anyone else splurge on jeans?

  • Forget about 3 pairs...I got two pairs at Kohls for $26 and $28.  You could get 6 pairs for just over $160!  I'm sure they're super cute...but I'm over needing super expensive jeans at this point in my life.

Glad you got a pair of jeans you really like though.

  • Try ebay! I just got a pair of Seven maternity jeans for about $50. I'm a designer jean nut, so I can still get them without the buyers remorse.

I agree with ebay.  I personally will just get jeans from Kohl's and ON most likely because I'd rather have a few extra pairs and stuff than 1 or 2 pairs, but I also wear jeans to work a lot.  However, ebay seems to have some awesome deals!

  • I bought Citizens on eBay for $60, and they fit great. I'm a little concerned about my butt outgrowing them by 3rd tri, LOL.
  • I have splurged only once in my life on Joe Jeans. I don't wear a lot of jeans so I haven't felt the need to.

I'm a dress/skirt kind of girl. These days I'm always in leggings and baby doll/empire cut dresses.

  • I initially bought some Hudsons because I generally have no issues dropping money on jeans that make my butt look good.  But then I started panicking that my body would change by the second trimester to the point where I couldn't wear them anymore (some people gain alot in their legs and butt, not just their bellies).  So I returned them and gave up on looking for jeans (I had tried on maternity jeans at Old Navy, Gap, and Loft and the fit was ick) when I stumbled upon a pair at Target.  They fit better than my Citizens do normally and were under $40, so I figured even if I can't wear them in a couple of months, it's just $40.

  • I bought a pair of Joes for $185 because they are identical to my pre maternity jeans and make my backside and legs look great also super super comfy. I also ended up buying a pair of Seven Jeans but returned after feeling stupid for spending that much on maternity. I really only need 1 nice designer pair, the rest could be old navy, gap etc.

  • I got a pair from Old Navy for $17 and absolutely love them.  I don't think I've ever spent more than $50 on a pair of jeans.  Just doesn't make sense to me.

  • I'm a designer jeans girl too.  My husband also encouraged me to go ahead and by myself a pair of designer maternity jeans that I loved, but I couldn't stomach the price tag.  I ended up getting a pair of Citizens on ebay for $50, and they are perfect.  They are my only maternity pants so far, and I LOVE them.  I wish I could wear them to work!

Go ahead and enjoy your new jeans!
