Help me! Need gift idea for FIL

in TTC After a Loss

He is an overweight man who is confined to a motorized wheelchair. He watches TV and eats. He doesn't read, doesn't go out and doesn't talk to people. He doesn't get on a computer and doesn't call anyone (except for BIL and DH).

We were thinking a magazine subscription? Something that might interest him?

    Magazine subscription is a good one.  Here are some things that I can think of right away:  electronic tooth brush (oral b has good prices on some), basket of food/snacks/drinks that he might like, maybe a snuggie (hehe, it makes me laugh everytime), pajamas, his favorite liquor or wine.  GL

    FIL's are SO difficult to shop for anyway!!  I have no ideas for ya.

    He sounds a lot like my dad, except my dad is a facebook addict instead of TV.  I generally get Dad something food related.  He loves those damn Hickory Farms gift boxes.  Oh, and socks.  I always get him nice, diabetic socks.  He's not diabetic, but sitting in the scooter all day his circulation sucks.
