For those taking pregnancy pics- when will U take them?

I was hoping to take mine in January when I was approximately 30 weeks- however my belly is so small at the moment, I may not be big enough to have "cute" pics until Mid-February! (My belly still isn't fully round- not yet a "D" belly! lol)  Anyone else taking some?

    I plan on having some taken. I was planning on calling my photographer tomorrow and asking when she suggests I have them taken. I am guessing she has taken enough to know better than I do.

    I plan on taking mine as late as possible just to make sure my belly is nice and big :) Probably mid-late March for me (I will be around 32 weeks)

    Im taking mine in february when Im gonna be 30 weeks. Im hoping to get them done before the stretch marks kick in lol

    Now that I'm starting to show, we've joked about taking a series of photos to show when my belly outgrows DH's, which could take until the end, but I don't intend to hire a professional regardless. Should probably carefully find out whether the in-laws are assuming we will, however. They go in for that sort of thing.

    I did mine around 34 weeks last time and they turned out fabulous..  I wanted to make sure my belly was as big as possible without cutting it too close to my due date.  Here is one of them from my last pregnancy at 34.5 weeks... I'll probably shoot for near 34 weeks again this time!

    I called the photographer today and she said some ladies do it the 7th month, some the 8th month and some wait up until even a week before they are due. She said it is a personal prefernce. If you want to show off a huge belly do it as late as you can. If you want a perfect size belly do it a little sooner. I still suggest you call the person you want to do the photographs and get their advice. They may ask that you make your appointment earlier or have a preference on when you have them done.

    I think mine were about 37 weeks? A little later than some recommend just incase you go early! I thought it was perfect for me though. Here's 2 of my favorites

    Our photographer suggested we do ours at 8 months if we are going to do them.

    I think I was only about 32-33 weeks last time, and I wish I had waited a few more weeks. It was SO big the last month! Unfortunately, that's when the stretch marks started showing up, but I know our photog could have made them magically vanish :)
