Not when did you lose all of your pregnancy weight. But when did you stop actually looking pregnant?

A friend of mine is a photographer and she's trying to build up her portfolio. She did my maternity pics and she's doing the twins' newborn pics. She also wants to do a family session, but I'd like to wait until a.) I feel human again and b.) I don't look four months pregnant.

I'm thinking it may take 3-4 months PP before I look not pregnant? Am I crazy? *Does* it take that long?

2-ish months? for me when I stopped looking really pregnant, but i I wear the wrong clothes its still pretty heinous. Its all about the posing. Sitting on the floor while the photographer is standing is good. Also having DH hold the babies while you are behind him leaning around his shoulder looking down at them...classic! Google some newborn family pics and don't be afraid to tell your friend what you want. As a former photographer I used to love when people told me exactly what they wanted. Made everyone happier!

definlety a good 8 weeks...maybe closer to 3 months...but like the pp said - the right poses can hide anything!

Maybe 4-6 weeks? After that I definitely didn't still look like my old self yet and had to buy some new clothes (my rib cage and to an extent my hips I think will permanently be bigger) but didn't really look pg either.
I would try to do newborn pics sooner though; I've heard the first two weeks are usually the best time. You can position yourself so your belly doesn't show. (And mine wasn't THAT big; I remember a pic at 2w pp--on my due date--and I looked like I did when I was about 16w pg.)

I would say 2-3 weeks. I was back in my normal jeans at 2 weeks.

I am heavier to begin with, but I stopped looking pregnant at about 3 - 4 weeks pp. By then all the swelling was gone and I just looked like my pudgy self.

Sadly I'm 10.5 months PP & I still look pregnant & sadly cannot get out of my dang materinity clothes (well I am to dissappointed to go shopping for clothes cuz I don't know what will fit around this belly of mine) & this is no matter what the heck I do (gym/diet). I actually looked smaller 4-8 weeks PP then I do now. It's frustrating, so I guess I just have to hit the gym even harder & watch closer to what I stick in my mouth...

I will be 8 weeks PP tomorrow and I am still a little swollen but it's not too bad. My lower stomach is just really poofy still but I have a feeling that won't be going away anytime soon Sad

10 days. Back to pre-pg weight within 2 weeks. My belly is a little soft but I'm told that should resolve itself in a few weeks. Remember though that I delivered early!

I was back in my pre-preg jeans at 4 weeks pp, but I still have a soft, round spot that I'm not super fond of. I was honestly freaked out at how big I was when I went home from the hospital. I knew it wouldn't go away right away, but thanks to pre-e, tons of fluids and blood pressure meds, I looked to be seven or eight months pregnant when I went home from the hospital!

I really lucked out- I was able to wear my regular jeans on Christmas Eve, 7 days after I delivered. But for some reason, I gained all of my weight in my belly and it went down quickly after delivery.

FWIW, I then gained 8 lbs back after I quit breastfeeding at 6 months and am heavier than a month postpartum :::sigh:::

About 3days..but I'm 5'11 and have a ridiculously long torso. I'm about 5lbs lighter than pre-pg. I fit in my pre-jeans but I'm definitely still smushy round the middle.

I'd say it took about 1.5-2 weeks till I didn't look pregnant. What sucks is now I just look fluffy around the middle. I have a 3-week pp pic on my blog. I'm down about 25 lbs. (I gained 55), so I still have weight (and uterus size) to lose.

About 2 weeks. I didn't wear regular jeans until about 3 weeks PP because I had a c-section and my low-rise jeans hit right at my scar.

about 2 wks. We had newborn pictures taken when the girls were a week old and did a couple family shots and some with each of us with them and I LOVE having pictures of them so tiny and sleepy. If your self-conscious get them taken from the above the waist.
