2 years later, finally using my gift card

We save our gift cards so that when we do need something, or are having a bad time and buying something would cheer us up, we use them. I feel this way, we get the most use out of them and are even more thankful.

So I am finally using my LLbean (love this place) gift card to buy a clock. It is last day free shipping, so why not? It is an outdoor clock with a thermometer. It matches our house perfectly and could not be more excited about it:). Oh, the small things in life. Plus, I have been eyeing this for a while now, and finally decided to buy it. 

 

On a side note, I have a Nordstrom gift card waiting for me. I am trying to lose weight first (from my IV's) and then, I will have a mini shopping spree. Now this is Motivation.

    lol, Even when I was in Maine (at their home store in Freeport), I just couldn't find "the perfect thing" I wanted to use my gift card for. Now that I am all unpacked and can see what I need or don't need, I can spend more wisely. I love me some bean!

    I used to do the same  thing.  Then Linens and Things went out of business and I lost half the value of an amex gift card b/c we waited over a year to use it.  Bastards.

    Oh, that sucks! We usually have best buy, target, and nordstrom (that's the ones people give us the most), so if one of those goes out of business, I better find out beforehand.
