Two Under 2

Anyone fly alone with 2u2? HELP!

Trying to decide if it is necessary to fly my sister across the country, just so I can fly "home" with the two kids. DH has an insane schedule and won't be able to come. I'm half considering sucking it up and going through hell for 6 hours doing it alone... just because eventually it will be over and we will get through it. My sister is willing, money isn't an issue... just not sure what to do. I half feel like a mommy failure if I require help to travel, I just don't know. Any advice? Experience? TIA!

  • look at it this way, you CAN do it alone, but do you want to? I mean, I know I could do it, but I would rather have help. If money isnt the issue, then swallow your pride and have her help you. =) Why put yourself through the stress and logistical nightmare of an airport with two little ones when you can have a helping hand.

  • Thanks ladies... re-reading my post made me realize how stupid the idea sounds unless it is totally necessary. Happy Holidays :-)

  • Not stupid at all - the flight is 6 hours??  Have your sister come to help.

I've flown solo with my 2u2 twice, and it pretty much sucked.  We survived, obviously, but it's not fun.
