I've been hearing some about charting your "girl" and "boy" days. I bought the ovulation tests and so far I still haven't had a period since having DS but we are TTC anyway. Just started the tests and nothing yet....I haven't done too much research yet but wondering if anyone has done this and if it works. I really want a girl and I dont think I can handle having a third child!

I have two boys now and we will be trying for a girl next time. Although the idea of three boys sounds really fun too, so who knows how much of an effort we'll really put in to the "girl" methods.
I have a book that a friend gave me with all of the info about the Shettles method so I'm reading up on that.

We didn't try (we weren't actually TTC at all) for a girl when we got pregnant with DD, but the last time we were together was at least 3 days before ovulation so when I got my BFP I figured we had a greater chance of having a girl (according to the Shettles method) and we did.
There's lots more you can do though...my friend really wanted a girl and she was on a special diet, timed intercourse, used certain positions, etc. There was a website she found with a lot of information, but I don't know what it was called. We'll find out in a few weeks if it worked or not...her big u/s is coming up soon.
