I've had enough of my mother...

Christmas today at my mother's went something like this....

"I bought the sweater with rouching (sp) so that you look slimmer now that you've added that weight"

"Six years ago your brother won The Norse invitational...I never really went to your concerts and stuff because they were so boring"

"I bought Buster something because with the lack of your marriage stability I don't know if I'll ever get a grandkid"

Along with about 10 other things, I finally ended up leaving early cause I couldn't do it anymore.

So about an hour ago this text message arrives,

"thanks for upsetting and ruining MY Christmas with you guys because of your issues."

AAAAAHHHHHHHHH

    Thanks guys, unfortunately none of this really surprises me.  I've been dealing with her like this since I was nine and she decided she no longer wanted to be a full-time mom so she left.

    Cut her out of your life as much as you can and I PROMISE you will be a much healthier and happier woman.

    That said, I am really sorry she couldn't be a compassionate ADULT for an afternoon and that she ruined your day. Ugh.
