My cloth diaper covers were washed with fabric softener.

DH and I are in the process of buying a washer. Meanwhile, I do laundry at my moms.

I left our laundry there last night, came back today and she did all of our laundry.

Super awesome. Except I had CD in the mix waiting to be washed for the first time.

The only dipes that got washed were covers. Are they still going to be waterproof after being washed with fabric softener? Or are they fine? 

Should I send them through a super hot wash once before using them just in case?
