11/26/11 Surprise BFP * DD born 7/23/12
Thanks so much! It went pretty well I think. The embies were both Grade 2 and one had 7 cells, the other was 8. The RE said they want to see between 6 and 8 at this point so all was good there. She also said that they don't see much difference in pregnancy rates between Grade 1 and Grade 2.
She had a little trouble getting the catheter in during the practice round, but it was fine when she inserted the embryos. One of them stuck to the catheter so luckily they make sure to check that before removing the speculum and she was able to insert that one too. It was so cool to see everything on the monitor and we got a cute little picture of the embies too.
Betas are set for Jan. 3rd - 18 days past retrieval! I can't imagine I'll be able to hold out that long to test.

This all sounds so wonderful! Your embies sound great! Our two rockstars were six and eight cells, so I have very high hopes for you. That is an awfully long time to betas. I got my positive test at 7dpo3dt. We all will be waiting for your great news!
