tonight might be the night

i've been super sick all month, DH is super busy at work and super tired... if Sabrina wakes tonight we may try and *not* feed her. ugh. she gets so cranky when she wants to eat and she's so good about going right back to sleep - which is why we've been avoiding doing this- but she's drinking near 40 ounces of formula/milk (we're mixing it in) every day (and night) and eating table food! she should be able to go w/out a nighttime feeding at this point... right?!

we'll see what happens. she had a busy day (photog took pics today- see siggy- squee!) running around the house so maybe she'll just sleep on thru...

    Yes, I totally agree that she should be able to go without a nighttime feeding now. Good luck, mama! It's tough but SO worth it! Let us know how it goes tomorrow.

    Love the adorable new pics! She doesn't even look like a baby anymore, just a beautiful toddler. And I agree, she's old enough to night-wean. Good luck! Stay strong mama!

    Yeah, I think it?s more of a habit/comfort thing at this point, not that she?s actually hungry. Adrian was only drinking 24 ounces a day at that age, plus table food, and he?s 95% percentile in the growth curve. So 40 oz seems like too much, actually. She can definitely go without that middle-of-the-night feeding. Pedi told me 24 oz was the max Adrian should drink, and he?s a big boy.     Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.

    Hope it wasn't too rough of a night. Just goes to show you how different they all can be. Sydney is only drinking about eight oz of formula a day. I can't believe Sabrina is drinking 40 AND eating table foods.
