My brother's wife works with DH. She apparently had some nausea this week and another co-worker asked if she was pregnant. She said, "I don't know, but wouldn't that be great!" DH spoke up and said, "If you are, don't tell Kelly (me), because she will kill you!"
Let me give you a little background on my B and SIL. They got married 3 months before us. They found out they were pg on our wedding day, so they have a 21 month old daughter. I adore my niece, but here's the kicker. B was unemployed for almost a year and SIL didn't work because he made so much money. While they were unemployed, they still ate out 3 meals a day, they both smoke, and they have a terrible Starbucks addiction. SIL started working with DH in September and B got a job in October. They cannot pay their bills; their water, electricity, and phones have been cut off just this month. However, they still eat at restaurants 3 meals a day, smoke, and drink Starbucks coffee! They also received an eviction notice to pay $2k or get out. Why does she think that another baby would be "great"?
Also, her sister has suffered numerous losses. She knows that another child would be a knife to the heart for me and her sister. I pray for that LO's sake that she is not pregnant. I would love it, regardless of my situation, but it's just a really rough situation.
I hope I did not offend anyone with this post. I don't believe you need to be a millionaire to reproduce, but a stable home life is required.
Thanks for reading my vent...it feels good to get it out!
