Eastgate/Anderson Early Preschool/Daycare?

I know I've posted this before, but not recently...

Anyway, dh is starting a job in a few weeks (one day/week) that is the complete opposite direction of my MIL.  We love my MIL, but the logistics of this one is going to be a bit too much I think.  He has to be there fairly early, which makes travel between there and back a total PITA because of rush hour.  Usually he works funky hours where rush hour isn't a factor.  It's still a little time consuming, but worth it for him to be cared for by grandma.

So dh and I decided this morning that we would look into very part time preschool/day care centers.  I know DS is ready for some sort of structured setting too, and I think it would help us with his language skills and help him increase social skills with kids his own age.  We want to see if we can find a center we like, that's somewhat affordable.  We only want to send DS one day/week, but probably for a large portion of the day (say 8- mid afternoon if not all afternoon).  So I'm looking for recos of places to look into and places to steer clear of...  We want to be in the Eastgate/Anderson area so that we're close to home and I can get there fairly quickly if I need to.

Also, does anyone have a link to that site that reviews them?

  • Ryleigh used to go to Kindercare in Anderson on 5 mile and I loved them. She went from 16 months-4years and I really don't have any bad things to say about them.  The director (if it's still the same one) was super sweet and really great with the kids. I would definitely recommend the place.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • My good friend was looking for the same... One day a week in the same areas you listed. She called a lot of places and many centers would not take her son for just one day... Just a warning! Good luck!
