DD is getting Sophie the Giraffe (~ $20), Scout by Leap Frog ($20), and dishes -- we found a take n toss bundle on Amazon for $10.

DD is getting several children's books like Dr. Seuss and Golden Books, and some Disney DVDs so she has them when it's time for her to be interested in them.

At Kohls they have the Dr. Suess books and animals, which when you buy them, 100% of the money goes to Kohl's Cares corp. It's $5 for the book and $5 for the matching animal. I got our DD "There's a Wocket in my Pocket" with the super cute animal. And I got my nephew "Oh say can you say" I think it makes such a great gift! I got one for my sister at her baby shower as well. I think they come out with different ones throughout the year. They don't have the ones they had earlier in the year. But now. the grinch is out for Christmas
