Ob/Gyn and Pediatrician advice - living on northwest side

DH and I are moving to Houston in just 6 weeks. I've posted on here before asking for recommendations where to live. Luckily, we've finally decided on a place!! We'll be near Jersey Village - just off of 290 near the Beltway. So, I'm now sending out my plea for recommendations for OBs and pediatricians. I don't know anything about what hosptials are good to deliver at...or what is even near me. Any advice you can offer would be GREATLY appreciated! TIA!

    First of all, welcome to Houston!  Second of all, if you haven't already purchased a home, there are some other areas on the NW side that you might want to consider instead. 

    The North Cypress Medical Center is close to you, right off 290, and it has a branch of the FM 1960 Pediatric Associates.   I've used several Drs there for my son, and we've settled, happily, on Dr. Audrey Winer.  We also really like Dr. Knapick (his name is something like that...) 

    As far as OBs, I choose to drive to the Medical Center due to the superior quality of care and facilities.  You never know if/when you might run into an emergency.

     

    God luck!  I know it's hard to find new Drs.

    I really love Memorial Hermann - Memorial City Hospital which is just south on the Beltway from Jersey City. My OB is Dr. Roberts at Advanced OB/GYN which is right next to the hospital. The women's center is brand new and I can't wait to deliver there!

    I see Dr. Joseph Montgomery.  He practices at North Cypress and delivers babies at Cy Fair Hospital.  Both are very close to JV.  He delivered my first two and will be delivering #3.  The main reason I really like him is that there is a 98% chance he will be there for delivery.  The only reason he said he would would be if he was OOT or in Surgery.  He delivered my first at 2am.
