Can natural peanut butter be used in recipes like buckeyes and such?

  • I didn't make out well with it for pb cookies but other posters said they did so I'm not sure what that adds up too...probably depends on the recipe, etc.

  • I used Skippy's natural (no HFCS) in pb cookies and they turned out pretty good.  Not quite as melt watering as my mom's, but I don't know that that was any fault of the pb I used.  That, I'm afraid, is as natural as we get for pb...  maybe that should be my FFFC....  Embarrassed

  • I used Skippy Natural (which is creamy) for pb cookies and they turned out great!

  • Plus there's a 365 organic pb at Whole Foods that has sugar in it (they also have an "unsweetened") and is creamy.  I'd use that over Skippy.
