Charlotte Restaurants?

We are going to be in Charlotte for DH's birthday sort of unexpectedly and I am having to scrap all the plans I had made here in Raleigh. 

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good steakhouse in Charlotte?  I was planning on going to Sullivan's here and I know there is one in Charlotte too but didn't know if it had as good a reputation or if there was a place that you just have to try if you are eating in Charlotte.

    I don't think you can go wrong with Sullivan's. We have all the yummy chains - McCormick & Schmicks, Ruth's Chris and I haven't been, but I've heard that Chima, the brazilian steak house is quite good. Have fun! I went vegetarian a few years ago, but this is making me crave a big fat fillet. :)

    Flemings (has great seafood, too, important since I'm not huge on steak, but DH is), del Friscos, Bentley's on 27 (great city views if it's not cloudy. . .they do some cooking at the table. . .thumbs up to banana's foster and flaming Irish coffee mad tableside).

    Thanks for the recommendations.  I was going to try Flemings but we ended up being able to do absolutely nothing for his birthday.  It makes me want to cry because it was supposed to be a special birthday since it was his 30th and we did nothing. 

     bobsbride- We actually had our reception at Bentley's.  We will be going there in January to celebrate our 5 year anniversary so I cannot wait :)
