AE's? Why do you think they do it?

I have yet to figure out the point of them?  Is it because they are bored?  Because they want to hide behind a fake name to call someone out?  What's the point? 

My bigger question what was Wilma's point in making an AE on our board?  It's just weird.

    Wilma was an AE?  I'm confused, what'd I miss?

    ETA: Just read the updated list thread.  That's so odd, I'm with y'all, why in the world would someone do that?!

    Who knows! To answer your question re: making an AE 'just in case' on national boards-I think some more opinionated posters do this in case they ever get banned temporarily, lol.

     As for Wilma and the like...I don't know. Maybe they are really bored. Or really want info on TTC/babies but want to look as though they have a legitimate reason for it (as in they are 'pregnant' too). It's been speculated her badly worded posts are the result of knowing English as a second language..in any case, it's bizarre no matter why they do it. 

    I have no idea...it was especially odd that she picked AL. Apparently she's posted on the monthly board Feb. 2011 a bit- and of course they aren't buying it. So I am glad to know if a way that she wasn't JUST here because that would be creepy.

    Ahhhh, Ok.  I had to go back and read some posts to know what was going on.  So weird.  I have no idea why people would do that.

    I guess boredom or wanting to stir up trouble like a pp said. I DON'T understand why someone would join a local board and act like they are from there though... creepy!

    I gotta admit I am nosy to see how she was discovered... Bump drama makes for fun reading to pass the time :)

    Thanks for posting this - I gotta admit between the stock belly photo and weird writing style/grammar, I am officially creeped out! Do you know if you block someone if they can still read your posts or does it just block you from seeing theirs?
