do you wash other things (eg: LO's clothes, burp clothes, blankets etc) with your CD's? assuming you don't have a full load. I can't think of a reason not to wash other stuff using the CD wash routine, but just thought i'd ask thanks!
heh, yeah, that was the only reason I could think of
I'm mostly just washing cloth wipes right now though, long story, and have a pile of clothes from sposie leaks multiple times a day(!). i think we're having more leaks with pampers than huggies. jaime sent me super helpful info on using cloth while dealing with yeast, and i cannot WAIT to switch...
Nope, just the dipes and the wipes. I don't think I'd want other stuff cycling through with all that pee and poop water! For the first 6 months, I did laundry every 3-4 days b/c I'd wait to have a full load. Now, we CD only 50% of the time, so I wash every 5-6 days. But I notice some of my prefolds deteriorating now... probably since I let the pee sit there for longer! Oh well, those are cheap.
I don't, but we wash ~every 3 days so it's a full load.
I think when he was very young/newborn I did wash burp cloths in there because if they were messy (not usually spit up on, but I used them as nursing pads and Jack was a messy eater b/c of oversupply) I didn't want them sitting in the hamper in his room b/c I only do his (clothes) laundry once a week.
We have a front loader, which is huge, so I'd often throw dirty stuff in my second wash cycle. So the poop was gone and I'd get better use of my water.

This!
I wash cloth wipes and dirty CDs together.
