wool footies= cold tummies?

What kind of top do you put on the kiddo when they wear wool footies to bed?

My LO is 4.5 months, and always squiggles around so that her shirt rides up and her tummy gets cold. 

The only solution I've found in a onesie snapped OVER the pants, which I can assure you is the height of chic fashion :)

 ETA: I should have clarified that I'm talking about wool footies, to use as a CD cover.

    We do one pieces that have footies. At that age, we'd also use sleep sacks, etc.

    DD wears longies, long-sleeved shirt and we put her in a swaddle-sack.  I assume when we decide not to swaddle anymore, she'll be in a sleep sack which should keep her belly warm enough.

    I'm digging the sleep sack idea! We're in a warm climate, so I figured it would be overkill. We have a long sleeved one, so I'm going to try the footies and sleepsack with no shirt tonight and see how it goes.
