Only one big, and a couple stocking stuffers. Hunter got the majority of the budget this year since it will be the last "Santa year" for him (most likely).

We just got stocking stuffers and a few small things he needed and some books. I know the grandparents are going a bit overboard, so we kept our gifts small.
I don't think our family will get Simon many gifts- even though he is the only grandchild it seems he is often forgotten. We bought him one big toy, a bunch of books and three small toys. I also bought him so clothes that we will wrap and put under the tree just for kicks.

Keeping him locked up in his bedroom, watching non-stop Santa movies till about 30!! LOL No I'm kidding, I just want him to stay young forever. If he finds out, that's fine. It's just a reminder that he's growing up. Makes me sad

Just 3 little stocking stuffers- he's getting TONS of stuff from family and his birthday is only 6 weeks later where he'll get more things from us and a bit less from family.
We got her three: a chair from pottery barn, a name puzzle and a piggy bank. I was totally fine with just three until last Saturday night when my BIL asked me how many gifts she was getting. When I told him, he was like that is it? Seriously only three. It hurt my feelings and I had to talk it over with my hubby. Who told me that three was perfect for her since all her aunts, uncles and both sets of grandparents are getting her stuff.
So far, the only thing I've bought him is clothes.. which I don't know why I did b/c my parents bought him tons of clothes for his birthday (which was on the 8th) and send me more clothes for him for Christmas. I'd like to go this weekend and buy him a couple toys to put under the tree.. even tho he doesn't play with the ones he has now! He'd much rather run around and cause mischief! LOL

His cousins almost ruined it last year, and I had to explain away a lot this year, including reassure Hunter that there was a Santa. I wont lie to him next year, but if he doesn't ask any questions, i will keep up the charade as long as i can.
Probably 10-15, but they're all books. (Oh, and a package of outlet covers). I knew that his grandmas would go crazy on toys so I didn't buy him any, but *I* went a little crazy with books, lol. Now I'm going to need to get him a bookshelf...
ETA: I also got him stocking stuffers which consisted of a new sippy, a baby fork/spoon set, a ball, new shoes, some socks, and I think that's it.

We have 10. But 5 of them are boxes of clothes that we would have bought him anyway, and just wrapped them up so he has things to open. 5 of them are toys (but 2 of them I got for free from Amazon using Swagbucks GC). And 2 smaller toys - he only only has one "big" toy and it is one of the ones I got for free. I got some really good deals on things too so we were able to wrap up a couple more gifts than planned. Then he has his stocking with little things in it too. But to be honest we probably only spent about $50 on things that are gifts/toys that we wouldn't have bought him anyway.
We got her 5; the Fisher Price Laugh and learn kitchen, a FP Little People dump truck thing, and Elmo book, a Christmas book, and sneakers. I have socks, two small board books, and a toothbrush/toothpaste in a stocking as well. I didn't get her a ton of stuff because I know how much stuff she is getting from the family, and we only have so much space in her bedroom for all of those toys!
Re: Changing the topic... not really...Poll
We spent about $50. I know about many of the gifts he is getting for Christmas and he'll have PLENTY! We do not need to overspend.
We bought him 2 big gifts and then a lot of little small ones. I left most of the shopping to my family.
