Someone told me that they sleep better together until at least 6 months and sometimes longer.
Just wanted to see how everyone else does it.
If you only used 1 for a few months, should we buy 2 and leave the second un-assembled or hold off on buying 2?
TIA

This.
We had them for a month in a PnP in our room, then they shared a crib in their room until about 4 months, and now they are in 2 cribs.
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!

Slept in swings until about 3 months.
Shared a crib from 3 months until 5-1/2 months.
Own crib since 5-1/2 months.
This. The staff in the special care nursery where my LOs had brief stays strongly advised AGAINST them sharing due to the increased risk of SIDS. I had planned on having them share a crib but got 2 cribs (and set them up) anyway. We had them together in a PnP in our room for all of 3 nights when we woke up to DD kicking DS in the face (and she was swaddled - no clue how she turned herself sideways..) From then on, they've been in their own cribs.
We have one crib and they share it. The nurses at the hospital said separate cribs and my pedi said let them share. I had planned on letting them share anyway. They sleep in their swings until their 2 am feeding and go in their crib until around 6 or 7. We are going to buy them each a new crib when we get income tax because we have a drop side crib and they've all been recalled.
