4 hour car ride in CD question

We're heading to the ILs for the weekend from this afternoon until Sunday.  I'm not at all worried about the actual logistics of using the CDs, and we won't be gone long enough to need to do laundry.  I'm most concerned with the 4 hour car ride. It's the longest we've gone in the car w/o changing.  The last time we made this trip, DS was only 7 months old and we stopped to nurse and change him.  Would a triple stuffed pocket covered w/ wool be okay?  Or should I plan on stopping halfway there to change like last time?

  • I would stop and change him if he's up. If you know he'll sleep the whole time then I would use whatever you use for night time or naps. Actually if it were me I'd use my night time CD when I leave tbe house incase she surprised me and slept the whole trip, but I'd bring and extra to change her if she was awake. GL have a nice weekend.

  • We're heading on a 30+ hr trip today.  I'm going to go with overnight capable diapers (Sbish fitteds) and wool and change probably every 4 or so hours or whenever we get gas.

I'd say your solution will be sufficient.

This.  If he's anything like my son, if he's awake he'll need 10 minutes to run around every couple hours anyway.
