What workouts were you doing before you got pg? You don't want to start anything too strenuous, so if you weren't doing anything, I would suggest just walking either on the treadmill or outside (if it's not too cold). Congratulations on the pg!
Prenatal Fitness Fix by Erin O'Brien. It's a 40 minute video and she does some light cardio and good strengthening moves (squats, push-ups etc.). Overall it is a good workout. It gets my heart rate up to just the right amount while being pregnant. Before I was pregnant I would work out and get my heart rate really elevated to around 160 - 170 but now I can't get my heart rate that high.
Beautiful Belly by Patrica Friberg. This is a bit longer of a workout, close to an hour. You need a resistance strap and it's recommended to have a stability ball. This workout tones your entire body and I think it is really good for pregnant women. She also has a good session on doing kegels that she recommends you do it everyday even if you don't do the rest of the workout on a daily basis.
I am excited to get it and try it out. It gives you a safe workout and yoga to do for each trimester plus a boot camp for after you have the baby. She is also giving away a free diaper bag with the program and free shipping.
Thank you all. I was exercising a min of 3 days a week at a zumba class and doin zumba at home. I was active, I just started feeling aweful and stopped going, b/c laying on the couch felt a lot better than jumping around and throwing up. I just think at this point trying to get back into zumba doesn't seem like a good idea. I was looking for a prenatal video to try and help me work back up to what I was doing. So it sounds like there are a couple that I will try. Thanks again ladies!
