Parenting after 35

First *real* time in the snow.

I say her first "real" snow because this is the first time she has known what it is. When she was born, it snowed twice while we were in the hospital and she was only a month old by her second blizzard. But... this is different. She knows the word snow and she tasted it on her tongue.

Snow angels and a huge smile on her face. Life doesn't suck.

  • Awww. That sounds so wonderful!  I wish we had snow (for a day or two).

  • That's sweet!  We had snow 4 times last year, which must be some kind of record in Dallas.  Most likely we will have to take Miller back to the Midwest for him to really experience snow.

  • How sweet.  It sounds like she had a blast.  And you're right these moments with out little ones are always a great reminder of how much joy there is in life.

  • Nope, life doesn't s*ck - how can it when we have such wonderful LOs?  Their smiles just melt away the bad things in life.  Glad she was able to taste and experience her first snow!

We got a couple of inches last night, but it all melted away this morning.  Hoping we get some more so we can take S out.  I have the cutest hat and gloves that I can't wait for her to wear!
