non religious 3 year old preschool rec's in perry hall/white marsh area

I've looked at a few places and I really like the Goddard School in White Marsh, but it is definitely on the pricey end.  I'm just so confused which way to go because there are some local public school preschools that are extremely cheap but are only 2 hrs 2 days a week and Goddard is 4 hrs 2 days a week.  I just don't know what the difference is and what is better to go with.  Any advice would be appreciated.  Thanks!

  • We use Goddard for our full time infant care and are very pleased with them.  They have weekly music, gymnastics and yoga classes for the kids that are all taught by outside providers, but included in our tuition costs so that might explain why the costs are higher.  (We use a different location, but I believe the Goddard ciriculum is standard.)

    Good Luck!

  • We did the Tiny Tots program at Gunpowder for the 3's program last year.  Love Mrs. Charlene and Mrs. Michelle.  They are great teachers.  The 3's program is 2 days a week for 2 hours.  Thier 4's program is 3 days a week for 2 hours also.  My son is an older 4 so and I thought he could benefit from a 5 day program so we switched him to St. Joes.  It is Catholic but I love it there.  He goes 5 days a week 2 1/2 hours each and it is great for Kindergarten prep.  I know Tiny Tots does a program at other schools where teh 3's is 3 days and the 4's is 5 days.  My older son did the Tiny Tots program at Joppa View and I wasnt happy there, although I have heard they changed alot since we were there.
