We've agreed on Madeline (lynn) for a first name. We can't seem to agree on a middle name though. Here are some of the choices. What do you think fits best? Last name is 2 syllables and starts with S.
Jane- would have same initials as my mom
Josephine- same as above but also first name of my mom's mother, who i died before i was born (also my mother's middle name)
Mary- family oriented- mom's first name, MIL's middle name, my middle name but i think it sounds to sing-songy
Grace- no affiliation, just think it's cute. Personally, I'd rather honor my mom in some way so Jane and Josephine would be the best way to do that. So what is your favorite out of the top 4 and then out of Jane and Josephine? Thanks!
Re: Middle name for Madeline
Favorite to least favorite:
Josephine - Just sounds right
Jane - Very close second
Grace - Typical and without meaning
Mary - Don't like the double "M"
Madeline Grace is my favorite but Madeline Jane is nice too.
That!
bfp 1 - m/c 1.31.11 @ 10 weeks
bfp 2 - baby born via c-section on 5.4.12 @ 37 weeks
bfp 3 - blighted ovum/d&c on 4.13.13 @ 8 weeks
bfp 4 - 3rd IUI, very late BFN with super low P, c/p
bfp 5 - natural bfp while on lupron, baby born via RCS on 4.27.15 @ 39 weeks
bfp 6 - surprise! baby born via RCS on 11.13.16 @ 38 weeks
If I had to pick, I'd go with Josephine.
Grace is so common for a middle name, just because it's so easy and goes with everything. I'd mix it up a bit and not pick Grace.
Mary - no. Madeline Mary would be a better name for a children's book character than an actual person.
Jane sounds a bit too plain with Madeline.
Some other middle names of similar style:
Isabel/Isabelle
Lila
Lea/Leah/Lia
Iris
Rose
Livia
Anya
Ellery
Eliza
I have a friend named Madalyn Jayne, its super cute.
My DH likes Madeline (LINE) but it always makes me think of that little french girl cartoon.
CUTE!
