I got my induction appt for the 21st, and the scheduler told me today that I won't be going in the night before for Cervadil, just going straight to the Pitocin that morning.
At this point, I'm only 2cm, 70% and -2 station, and won't have another internal before my induction appt. It seemed a bit strange to me they didn't want to do Cervadil because they've talked about it at my previous appts.... so I'm just wondering if you were induced and didn't get Cervadil, what were you at the point they started the Pit? Anyone less progressed than me? How did it turn out?

I had the cervadil, but it got me to about the point where you are already all on your own, then they started pitocin. So, you probably don't really need it.
They started the pitocin with me at about 7 a.m. and I was at a 10 and started pushing around 3:00 p.m. if that is any idication of how long it takes from 3 cm, but of course, everyone is different. I pushed for three hours and ended up with a c-section...Go in with an open mind about your labor plans!
I was 75% effaced and 1 cm dilated the day before my water broke. No real contrax for the next 12 hours so I had to be induced with pit. Dr said that cervadil wouldn't work because the fluid would wash it away.
Honestly, the pit wasn't too bad. I made it to 5 cm before really feeling like I needed pain meds. I got them and the rest wasn't bad at all.
Total time from starting pit to delivery was 6 hours. (I dilated from 5-10 in about 45 minutes after getting the epidural.)
Thanks ladies, this is really helpful!
I was worried going straight to the Pit wasn't going to do anything other than route me closer to a c-section, but it sounds like a lot of you were right around where I was and had smooth inductions with a vaginal delivery, so whew!
